My Favorite {Pretty} Organizing Tools

October 26, 2016 in Home Sweet Home

I’m a big fan of things that serve more than one purpose. In fact, it’s often one of the criteria I use when deciding whether to purchase something or not. You may have also picked up on the fact that I’m a pretty organized person. With that said, I like it when my organizing tools can also serve as pretty décor! Fifteen Things I DON'T Do

October 19, 2016 in Intentional Living, Simple Living

I’ve been thinking a lot about comparison lately. Social media has a tendency to be the highlight reel of other people’s lives, but we so often hold it as the (totally unachievable) standard of how our own lives should look. I don’t personally abide by these popular ‘minimalist maxims’; but I do see the appeal in the ideals of minimalism. I like Joshua Becker’s definition of minimalism best: “Minimalism is the intentional promotion of the things we most value and the removal of anything that distracts us from it.”  There are a lot of benefits to adapting this mindset; here are a few that are important to me!
